About
While I was still in Secondary School, I knew that the internet was going to be a big thing. So much so that I took it on my own back to sign my family up, much to my parents surprise. I have been hooked ever since. I have been working in the industry for nearly 20 years now and while it has been hard work, I have loved the challenges and fast paced evolution.
For majority of my career I have worked with Abstract, a company with a passion for design, developing their IT infrastructure, converting designs into reality and working with the team to deliver the best possible product. I helped grow their Netprint brand management system, and also developed its replacement, the Creators brand management system, from the ground up. This system allows companies to manage their brand and create marketing materials for delivery both digitally and by professional print. These systems have been used by companies such as AGCO, Aggreko, Aldermore, Alstom, Areva, Blackwells, Euler Hermes, Siemens, Samsung, and many more.
Away from work, I like to mix my passion for technology with my love of motorsport, and in particular Drag Racing. Together with my father, friends and family we have built and raced several dragsters, with our current creation being a 1200hp, Supercharged Methanol burning, 7.8 second 1/4 mile monster. Alongside that I am also the developer behind the Eurodragster.com website - the premier source of European Drag Racing news and event coverage, and work as part of the editorial team.

- Developed and maintained the Flash based Netprint Brand Management system until Flash’s demise.
- Developed the replacement for Netprint, the Creators Brand Management system, which was used globally by thousands of users for corporate clients. The system allowed users to create professional print ready PDF’s, Digital Assets, Landing Pages, Responsive Emails and Videos/Animations from templates in a web based front end.
- Developed the ability for Creators to interpret Adobe InDesign IDML files to speed up template creation.
- Optimised system performance, achieving 99.9% uptime.
- Integrated Creators with Rest API’s for systems such as DotDigital, AssetBank, Adobe Experience Manager, Hootsuite and social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X and LinkedIn.
- Integrated Creators with third party SSO systems including Forgerock utilising OAuth / SAML.
- Maintained and Developed a variety of different web pages and interactive experiences delivered via the Web, Mobile Apps and Virtual Reality.
- Handled the businesses networking and servers for both internal networks and the client facing web. This included VPN access allowing us to swiftly move to home working at the start of the pandemic.
- Implemented the hardare / configuration side of the businesses CyberEssentials cyber security.
